Dr. Rajesh Ingle is a distinguished professional serving as the Dean (Academics), Head of the Department (Computer Science and Engineering), and Professor at IIIT-NR (Indian Institute of Information Technology, Naya Raipur). Prior to his tenure at IIIT-NR, he held the position of Professor in Computer Science and Engineering at PICT (Pune Institute of Computer Technology), Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, India, and served as an Adjunct Professor at Government College of Engineering Pune. Notably, Dr. Ingle has made valuable contributions to academia, including being a Senate Member of Savitribai Phule Pune University, Head of the EDC & Business Incubation Centre, and Head of the CE department at PICT, Pune.
In recognition of his outstanding dedication, Dr. Ingle was honored with the 2014 IEEE Outstanding Branch Counselor Award from IEEE, USA, and the 2019 IEEE Region 10 Outstanding Volunteer Award for his exceptional contributions and services to IEEE Pune Section and IEEE Region 10.
Dr. Ingle earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Powai, Mumbai. He holds a B.E. in Computer Engineering from Pune Institute of Computer Technology, University of Pune, an M.E. in Computer Engineering from Government College of Engineering, Savitribai Phule Pune University, and an M.S. in Software Systems from BITS, Pilani, India.
A senior member of IEEE, IEEE Communications Society, and IEEE Computer Society, Dr. Ingle actively serves as the Chairman of the IEEE Computer Society Pune Chapter. Additionally, he has held notable positions such as Chair of IEEE R10 (Asia Pacific) Student Activities Committee (2015-2018), Vice Chair of IEEE India Council, Branch Counselor of PICT IEEE Student Branch, and President of PICT Alumni Association. Dr. Ingle is also associated with Symbiosis University and other esteemed research centers. He has worked closely with various Boards of Studies (BOS) in IT and CSE at different universities, including Pune University and Shivaji University. Furthermore, he has organized numerous international conferences and meetings in countries such as Japan, USA, Hong Kong, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Sri Lanka, and Australia. Dr. Ingle's guidance has influenced over 600 projects at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, with five students completing their Ph.D. (Computer Engineering) under his supervision, and five more currently engaged in doctoral research. His research prowess is evident through his publication record of over 65 research papers in reputable national and international conferences and journals.
